Admission tickets to Astrid Lindgren’s World
Please bring your tickets to one of our hosts at the entrance and they will help you scan your tickets. You can scan them directly from your phone or printed. If you need to leave the park during the day, contact one of the hosts at the information to get a readmission ticket. If you have booked your entrance tickets as an option in your accommodation booking you will also have access to the entrance gate which only applies to our accommodation guests. Other entrance tickets are referred to the main entrance.
Allergies
In most of our house types pets are allowed.
Out of consideration for people with allergies, pets are not permitted in accommodation marked with (pets not allowed)
None of our accommodation is decontaminated for allergy sufferers.
Barbecues
There are several common barbecue areas that you are free to use. Charcoal and lighter fuel are available to buy in the shop in the reception building. We refer to these barbecue areas for everyone’s safety. Disposable barbecues are not allowed in the area.

Astrid Lindgren's World
Theme park in Vimmerby, Sweden
Astrid Lindgren's World (Swedish: Astrid Lindgrens värld) is a theme park located in Astrid Lindgren's native city of Vimmerby, Sweden.[1]
It was opened in as a Fairytale Village (Sagobyn). In , they built Katthult. the first house together on a scale. Over the years, more settings were added all built on a scale.[2]
In its , square metres, visitors meet all the beloved characters from books by Astrid Lindgren. All the environments are built as prescribed in the books and they give child visitors the possibility to enter into the stories of Pippi Longstocking, Emil i Lönneberga, Karlsson-on-the-Roof, and many others of Astrid Lindgren's beloved characters.[3]
Astrid Lindgrens World is open in the summer from May to August. During the summer season events go on all day long, both on stage and improvised all around the park. The small stage just inside the entrance and the main stage shows every day specially written scenes with music that includes singing and dancing. There are various performances by the characters including Pippi at her home, Villa Villekulla.[4]

Astrid Lindgrens Värld on Astrid Lindgrenin luomien hahmojen inspiroima huvipuisto, joka sijaitsee Ruotsin Vimmerbyssä. Huvipuisto avattiin vuonna ja se on sittemmin kasvanut yhdeksi Suomen suosituimmista huvipuistoista. Astrid Lindgrenin luomat hahmot, kuten Viisitoista vuotias Kaksi, Peppi Pitkätossu ja Pikkuveli, toivottavat vierailijat tervetulleiksi tähän ihanaan maailmaan.
Astrid Lindgrens planet tarjoaa vierailijoilleen ainutlaatuisen elämyksen matkalla Astrid Lindgrenin tarinoiden maailmaan. Huvipuisto on jaettu eri alueisiin, jotka edustavat eri tarinoiden maailmoja. Voit vierailla Viisitoista vuotiaan Kaksin kaupungissa, jossa voit käydä Korttelissa tai Raitti-alueella. Voit myös tutustua Peppi Pitkätossun Taka-Orrendoon tai viettää aikaa Pikkuvelin talossa. Jokaisella alueella on omat nähtävyytensä, aktiviteettinsa ja esityksensä, jotka saavat sinut tuntemaan olevasi osa tarinan maailmaa.
